As we approach this time of year I am filled with so many different emotions daily. Some days I am so excited it takes over me. With lights and cookies to bake while having a fire and snow with hot cocoa... I just get overwhelmed with everything wonderful! Then there are the days that are hard... knowing that I am so far from what I have always known and trying to keep God's perspective verses mine!
God is a wonderful God and He blesses me with people and opportunities here everyday. I can really and truly say that I love being married! That I love the cold weather! That I love teaching! That does not mean that I don't miss being in College, or in Texas, or with the people that have made me who I am! It just means that I am trying to see God's big picture instead of my small one.
Being married is exciting but it is a very challenging process. You learn things about yourself that you don't like! You learn how selfish you are and how hurtful you can be. But when you truly mean to devote yourself to someone and they do the same for you... it is the most amazing and rewarding experiences God ever created! So this Christmas take time to enjoy where you are in your life... whether that be in high school, college, single, dating, or married! Because wherever you are... Christ is with you in everything... and He is the reason for this season! Truly!

One breath at a time...
There are so many things that have to be done all the time. Every day consists of wedding planning, work, and trying to search for jobs in Nebraska. And to top it off I am in a long distant relationship with my future husband until we get married. Nothing takes romance out of a relationship like living states away.
Yet, somehow Joe does his best to always make me happy! He is the most precious person to me in so many different ways. He does his best to call every night and send letters every week in order to make the distance easier. I am so excited just to live life with him everyday! To be able to have fun with my best friend for the rest of my life! It just doesn't get better than that!
With less than three months until the wedding, time is beginning to fly by. There are so many little things to get done all the time and so many decisions to be made, but I love every second. I cant wait for July when it will all come together and we are all together for the wedding!
